Pasta Party Information for the JV Team:

Estimated Cost:  *$35-$40 per player for a total of 9 pasta dinners 

Price includes:  Pasta from Proietti’s, bottled water, bread, dessert

*This price is estimated based on the amount of players/games/dinners that the JV team had last year. My goal is to keep the cost under $5.00 per meal/per player.

Once the finalized game dates are available, I can provide the dates of the pasta parties.  More details will be provided, as well as the payment due date.

I will manage the money and the schedule as well as buy all of the plates, utensils, bottled water, bread, desserts but will need commitments from others to help with picking up the pasta from Proietti’s, set up and clean up at the school.  A sign-up sheet will be sent out soon.

7 on 7 Rescheduled!

I apologize for the late notice but the 7 on 7 for tomorrow (Tuesday July 8) has been rescheduled.  Instead any JV players who are around can come Wednesday and Thursday for 7 on 7 from noon-1:00pm on the turf.  There will be an hour break from the end of lifting until 7 on 7 starts so the players are welcome to bring a sandwich or something to eat.  This is an opportunity for QB's and receivers to throw and defensive players to gain some experience with our new scheme.

Summer Schedule for JV Players

Just a reminder that lifting/conditioning is every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9-11am.  I know there were probably people out of town last week with the holiday, but we had very low numbers of JV players in the weight room.  The best way to avoid injury is to build up muscle in the summer because we know players will lose some muscle mass once practice starts in August.

Also, if you are around Tuesday July 8 from noon to 1:00pm, the JV and Varsity players are going to meet on the turf for a 7 on 7 session.  This will give QB's and receivers a chance to throw while the defense gets some experience with pass drops in our new scheme.

Camps, the Team Camp is July 28-31 from 5:30-8:00pm at Schroeder.  The Eastside Camp is August 4-6 from 5:30-8:30pm at Willink.  The JV teams are usually at Willink, I will let you know if that changes.

Finally, practice begins August 18.  We will run double sessions from 7:30am-2:30pm all ninth grade players will begin practice on this date and who is playing JV and Mod A will be determined at the end of the week.

Saturday's game versus Fairport has been changed to a 2pm start time.  Players must be in the locker room by 12pm noon.  Buses will leave at 12:30pm.
