News You Can Use

Hello Warrior Families,

We are approaching our 1st JV game on Saturday Sept.7th. The game starts at 9am and will be held at the Roth Middle School in Henrietta.


Your JV player should have come home with an order form to purchase a DVD copy of all JV games.  Please contact me Liz Mauro @ liz@smallworlddaycare.com if you are interested. For those of you who did not receive the form it'll be on the home page for you to print out.


Julie Simons (Josh Simons Mom) kindly offered to help out this year season with our pasta parties. They will be held at the Schroeder cafeteria following Friday's practices. Unfortunately we will not have one tomorrow, although Julie will be sending out an email asking for parent volunteers using the sign-up genius.

Practice Schedule for Week of August 26th

The JV Football Team will practice at the following times this week:

Monday: 1-4
Tuesday: 1-4 (We will go to Aquatic Center from 4:30-5:30 if it is available).  Also, Tuesday night is WABO night at 6:30 in the Gym, all players and at least 1 parent for each player must attend.
Wednesday: 3-6
Thursday: 3-6
Friday: To Be Determined, we will let the players know on Monday.
Saturday: Scrimmage, we will let the players know what time to be there later this week

Change to Practice Schedule Monday August 19th

Due to a meeting that all football coaches must attend there has been a change to the practice schedule for Monday August 19th.  The JV players will have 1 extended practice (instead of 2 as originally planned).  The players will still need to be dropped off at 7:15 and practice will end at 11:30.  The players should have a healthy breakfast to help keep their energy up and are welcome to bring a healthy snack to have during practice.  I apologize for the short notice, but we were just informed of the meeting last night.  Practices will remain as scheduled (two-a-days) for the rest of the week.  Thank you for your flexibility and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns regarding the practice schedule.

Reminder: Sports Sign Up Forms Due Tomorrow

Reminder: Sports Sign Up Forms must be turned in by tomorrow Friday August 16th in order for players to practice on Monday August 19th.  Players must meet a minimum number of practices before the state will allow them to play in a game so it is critical that these forms get turned in as soon as possible.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
